Dulce Dough Donuts & Bakery in St Simons Island, GA!


Dulce Dough Donuts & Bakery opened in 2020 and is known for their nostalgic atmosphere, delicious treats, and friendly customer service. They focus on classic French technique pastries and experiment with all types of flavors. All their products are made from locally sourced ingredients and are made fresh daily.

The donuts are handmade from brioche dough, a type of enriched dough that contains eggs, butter, and sugar, which makes it richer and softer. The dough rests for 72 hours in the refrigerator to develop the most flavor and the right texture.


Chef Ryanne's dedication to quality, freshness, and flavor originates from her childhood, where she watched her Sicilian grandmother prepare homemade pasta for their family.

The décor is an homage to Chef Ryanne's grandmother. “Upon walking into the shop, we wanted it to feel as if you were walking into your grandma's house - warm, inviting, and always delicious-smelling.”


The shop is named after Chef Ryanne's daughter, Dulcimer. "Her given nickname is Dulce, Spanish for Sweet or Gentle. Which was extremely fitting for her because she was the most loving child you could imagine.” - Chef Ryanne
