Explanation of Features
- ELECTRIC HEAT: Donut Robots feature a heavy-duty, high-efficiency element shaped to maintain optimum temperature through the length of the fryer. Element tilts upward for easy cleaning. Thermostat range is up to 425°F / 218°C.
- GAS HEAT: Propane heating is available on Gas Mark 2 and Gas Mark 2 GP only. Thermostat range is up to 425°F / 218°C.
- FRYING TIME RANGE: Minimum-maximum fry times for each model.
- FRYING TIME CONTROL: All models except Mark 1 are controlled with fry-time dial.
Mark 1 fry-time adjusted by choosing from 4 drive-belt settings (easily changeable). - DEPOSITOR TYPE:
Standard Donut Robot depositor makes 5 varieties with compatible plungers.
Type F and Type N make up to 10 varieties with compatible plungers.
GP models make mini-donuts only, using double-miniature hopper and double-miniature 1-inch plunger.
See individual models for which varieties each model can produce. - MINI-DONUT CONVERSION KIT: The conversion kit doubles the output of the standard Donut Robot depositor when producing minidonuts. Consists of a double-miniature hopper with double-miniature 1-inch plunger. Deposits 4 donuts per row (except Mark 1 - two per row). Also known as "double-miniature conversion kit".
- DONUTS PER ROW: Standard models deposit 2 cake donuts per conveyor row (except Mark 1 - one donut per row). GP models deposit 4 mini-donuts per conveyor row (except Mark 1 - two per row). To double the production
rate of minidonuts on standard models, use the mini-donut conversion kit.
Mark 6 with Donut Robot depositor produces 2 donuts per row. Mark 6 with Type F depositor accomodates 4-5 per row. Mark 6 with raised donuts: 4 per row. - PRODUCTION AT 95/60 SEC FRY TIME: Number of donuts produced per hour at the frying time specified (your production rate may vary).
- CONVEYOR ROW SPACING: Donuts are conveyed through fryer by flight bars. Conveyor row spacing refers to the distance between flight bar centers. Flight bars are 1/4" diameter; subtract this from row spacing to obtain clear space between bars.
- Note: Mark 6 is available with 4.5 in spacing as an option.
- GP MODEL ROW SPACING: Spacing for GP models. Donuts are conveyed through fryer by flight bars. Conveyor row spacing refers to the distance between flight bar centers. Flight bars are 1/4" diameter; subtract this from row spacing to obtain clear space between bars.
- MINIDONUTS PER ROW: For GP models, this is the number of mini-donuts deposited per conveyor row.
- DRAIN AND VALVE: Heavy-duty drain and valve combination at the bottom of the fryer. It extends about 20"/51cm below the fryer and needs a hole in the table or counter below the fryer. If you have no room for the drain, you can extract and filter shortening using Belshaw's Filter-Flo Siphon. The drain can be cut to a minimum of 12"/30cm. Gas Donut Robots cannot operate with a drain.
- FEED TABLE: Essential for making yeast-raised donuts on Donut Robots. The feed table automatically inserts donuts into the fryer. For details, see Mark 2,5 and 9 accessories or Mark 6 accessories.
- EXTRA TURNERS: Mark 6 and Mark 9 can have 1, 2, or 3 turners with this option, which enables even frying of French Crullers and other varieties. A specialized conveyor is required to accept the turner. The operator can revert to a single turner in about one minute.
- SUBMERGER: Mark 6 is available with submerger for even frying of donut balls (sometimes known as 'holes' and other names). Ask your sales representative for details.
- VENTLESS (INSIDER): The Insider can house Mark 2, Mark 2 GP, Mark 5 and Mark 5 GP. For details, see Insider.
- AUTOMATIC PROOFER: The Mark 6 system is compatible with Belshaw's TMK-VI automatic proofer for convenience and labor saving.
